Chapter 9: The Lab Reaching the lab didn’t take long and while they walked, Frisk took some time to talk to Rick and Chloe about her abilities with DETERMINATION, and talked about how she had been going back and forth through the Underground, having spent a lot of time with those here. “So wait, you actually did a “Date” with that guy Papyrus, and we could have gone back to visit with Undyne after that fight?” Chloe would ask as they were approaching the large building that was the lab. “Yeah, it wouldn’t have been too bad… Think of it as sorta of a date thing?” She’d say as Rick and Chloe looked at one another. “Ok, there are reasons why I do it but… Trust me, Undyne wouldn’t have been bad then.” Frisk would reassure them as the two just gave the other a glance. “If you say so… So, what should we expect here?” Rick asked when they got closer. “That’s the thing… I really don’t know. Chapter 8: Justice’s Spear & DETERMINATION From the moment they clashed, Frisk could tell that something certainly felt different. Either Undyne was stronger than she remembered, or fighting against three opponents gave her a boost as she had been able to hold back against them. All through the fight, Frisk had tried her best to talk with Undyne, trying to find a way to talk her down. However, just as she had tried before… It was not going well. She knew what they needed to retreat… However… The two Keyblade Wielders were focused on fighting with Undyne. They were defending against magical spears as she would freeze either Chloe or Rick in place to use her magic on them, while at the same time she was fighting in a melee with whoever wasn’t frozen. At one point she had both keyblade wielders frozen as they were back to back as she made the attempt to skewer Frisk with her spear. She blocked as best as she could but knew her LOVE was too low to be able to fight against Undyne.

Chapter 7: Captain of the Royal Guard. It was here that they stopped to talk, looking over the final writing before the bridge. The Final Glyphs before the encounter with Undyne… At least the encounter that Frisk remembered. This run has been… Interesting. She had to think to herself while Chloe and Rick were examining the Glyphs, out of all of her runs and all of her RESETs, never has there ever been a timeline where other humans were involved… But if they were telling the truth, and that they really came from another world, how much different was this route going to be? Would it be the same as prior runs? Or would it be completely different?
